Description

Citizen science offer a multitude of approaches to engage, influence, educate, collect data and information about the ocean. This team will coordinate existing citizen science activities in the Oslofjord, such as Dugnad for havet, Civic organization activites around the Oslofjord area, and more. Exchange of experiences from Iliad Jellyfish pilot and the national jellyfish data gathering in Norway will be considered. Both learning from and improving engagement activities, education and the integration of data in digital twin of the Oslofjord are expected outcomes.

Build an MVP DTO of the Oslofjord using Iliad components

In-situ observations of our ocean remain a challenge. The challenge addressed in this team is to combine a variety of sensors, set up a work flow integrate sensor observations in digital twins of the ocean with focus on the Oslofjord.
