The EGU General Assembly 2022 will take place between 23rd - 27th May, 2022. This event will be held in Vienna, Austria, with a virtual option for those who cannot attend in person. This global event is aimed at geoscientists and will provide a forum where scientists (particularly ones in their early careers) can present, contribute knowledge, and collaborate with experts within the field of geoscience.
Iliad will be represented by an oral presentation, including the work of authors involved in the Iliad project; Bente Lilja Bye, Georgios Sylaios, Arne-Jørgen Berre, Simon Van Dam, and Vivian Kiousi.
Title: Digital Twin of the Ocean - An Introduction to the Iliad project by Bente Lilja Bye, CEO and Founder of BLB and the leader of the Iliad stakeholder engagement and capacity building activities (work package 10).
The presentation will form part of Session ESSI3.3: "Free and Open Source Software (FOSS), Cloud-based Technologies and HPC to Facilitate Collaborative Science".
